Talented graduates from Plymouth College of Art will be kickstarting their creative careers by showcasing their work. Taking over three stands at this years London Design Fair, over 40 students will exhibit collections of work across a wide range of diverse disciplines; from ceramics to glassblowing, photography to fine art.
Featured artists will include textile artists Hannah Seward and Katie Minshall, who recently were featured by Selvedge Magazine, acclaimed young illustrator George Goodwin, who was featured in New Design Magazine and emerging Fashion designer Amy Bray recently showcased on the Graduate Fashion Week catwalk.
Exhibiting alongside them will be award-winning fellow graduate Renovat Moody, a young glassblowing artist who is selling his art to raise funds for his families farm in Africa, in a bid to tackle the poverty in his home town. Plymouth College of Art graduates will showcase their work in a bespoke exhibition stand, fabricated at Fab Lab Plymouth. The unique stand has been designed by the college’s BA (Hons) Product Design & Innovation Programme Leader, Kevin Jenkins, whose past clients include BT, The National Trust, and Haagen Daaz. The stand also features a dedicated meeting space to be used for portfolio reviews, networking and interviews.
Plymouth College of Art are inviting designers, journalists, emerging creatives and members of industry to join them at their stand for an introduction to the work on show. To register your interest contact email@example.com
