The Design in South Italy pavilion, in its 4th edition at the London Design Fair, aims to present the best materials and interiors products from designers, studio and brands from Southern Italy.
The pavilion is designed and curated to show selected products from each participant as part of a shared exhibition, capturing the creativity and design sensibilities of four southern Italian regions.
Design in South Italy is organised by the Italian Trade Agency in London and the initiative is part of “Piano Export Sud – Export Plan for the Convergence Regions” a project designed to support and enables companies from these regions to express their full potential for creativity and excellence whilst connecting with a global design market during the London Design Festival.
The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is the Government agency that supports the globalisation of Italian firms, under the Ministry of Economic Development’s strategies. ITA helps to develop, facilitate and promote Italian economic and trade relations with foreign countries, focusing on the needs of SME, their associations and partnerships. ITA sustains Italian firms in their internationalisation processes and promotes the marketing of Italian goods and services, Italian investments, as well as the image of “Made in Italy” products worldwide.
