5 Brands that Caught Our Attention at Maison&Objet, Paris 2019 

Last week the team took to the streets of Paris to uncover the newest pieces across the design disciplines. Here we select our top 5 brands from Maison & Objet. 



Portugal based furniture brand, Dooq create designs that aim to stimulate the senses. With a focus on iconographic research the brand creates furniture and accessories that hark back to different era whilst remaining truly modern. Playing on contrasting elements, such as shape, materiality and size Dooq’s pieces are inspired by the unexpected meeting of opposite elements.  
Launched this year, the Bonnie & Clyde table (pictured) boasts elegant curves off-set in dark marble.



Masque Spacio

Spanish-based Creative studio, Masquespacio, was founded in 2010 by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse. Working on creative interior products and creating furniture pieces, the duo brings their skill set together to form the multi-faceted studio. Since establishing 9 years ago, the studio has been awarded numerous designs including the Massimo Dutti New Values award by Architectural Digest Spain and the Wave of the Future award by Hospitality Design USA 
New for 2019, the Mambo armchair designed for Houtique fuses together the new and the old.  

Masque Spacio



Working closely with renowned European designers such as Studio Furthermore, Silo Studio and Sebastian Herkner, German brand Pulpo created unique and functional pieces. A proud supporter of young and emerging talent, the brand welcomes an experimental approach to materiality and design from it’s collaborators, resulting in accessories with distinctive visual appeal. 




French design company Moustache produce pieces across various design disciplines presenting a portfolio of work from leading designers in the field. Working with the likes of Inga Sempé the brand aims to “build a long-term domestic world with a high cultural value”, focusing on responsible productions methods. 



Presenting well known works form Elena SalmistraroPatricia UrquiolaLeonardo Talarico and Eligo Studio, renowned brand CC-Tapis brought their bespoke rugs together in a Studio Milo designed stand. Featuring a mix of harsh and soft materials visitors to the stand moved between brass lined archways to view the pieces.
