Announcing the New International Craft Pavilion
After 3 years of hosting the British Craft Pavilion (BCP), the home for high-end craft during the London Design Festival, we are delighted to announce that the BCP will become the International Craft Pavilion
The home for of global at the annual London Design Festival, the International Craft Pavilion
invites makers from across the full spectrum of craft disciplines.
The pavilion will be dedicated to functional pieces, a welcome addition to London's gallery orientated craft calendar. Whilst exhibitions such as Collect, taking place in February, and the Loewe Craft Prize, taking place during the London Craft Week, focus on work intended for gallery presentation, the International Craft Pavilion
will showcase exquisite work intended for practical use.
We are inviting both individual makers and organisations such as international crafts councils to represent their nations craft at the new pavilion.
The BCP has always been the go-to exhibition for craft during the Festival and with this decision, we feel it will become even more of a destination for the Fairs 29,000 visitors from 77 countries, and for the Festivals wider audience of collectors, retailers and industry experts.
